A MESSAGE FROM GOD'S HEART TO OUR HEART #2

A. Last Week We Talked About Two Things We Need To be Reminded Of Occasionally.
#1. We need to hear the Gospel. The seed of the Kingdom when planted in our hearts and lives
brings good things have in Jesus.
#2. Reminded of this powerful message we have for world. It can heal their hurts and lives and
gave you an outline of how people were converted in the New Testament and a scripture
chain reference to go in your Bible. We will show you how to use it one Sunday afternoon
very soon.
B. ROM.1:14-17.
1. Here's the only message that relates to everyone. It's the only message that addresses humanities common problem. SIN.
a. It was the only message Paul proclaimed everywhere he went.
(A) 1 COR.15:1-2.
(B) Paul ends his discourse in VS.11, "So we preached and so you believed." And, Paul never preached any other doctrine or message.
(1) 1 COR.4:17.
(2) GAL.1:7-8.
b. That message is simple. The Gospel is Christ and Him crucified for your sin.
(A) It is God's power not man's. The power is in God and not in any power or ability that man may have.
(B) 1 COR.2:1-5.
(1) Power not in our eloquence, persuasiveness, man's ability
(2) Power is in the message. God is in the message.
(3) So simple a child can understand, So profound it's beyond the ability of greatest humans to understand it without divine help.
2. No human could figure out God's way for making people rightous unless God chose to tell them how He was going to do it.
a. 1 COR.2:6-10.
b. God had a plan before the beginning of time and no human could figure out.
(A) Not understand until God choose to tell them. That doesn't mean it was to difficult to understand.
(1) Just means it was a secret until God chose to reveal it.
(2) What do I have in my hand??? You don't know what it is.
(a) Speculate, Guess Not know until I show it to you.
(b) Nothing but a simple pocket knife I carried to Siberia
(B) Once I reveal it to you it’s easy to understand.
(1) That's how the Gospel message is. It’s not hard to understand.
(2) So profound that If God had not chosen to tell us about it we could have never figured it out on our own.
(3) "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God
prepared for those who love Him." That's the Gospel Message.
(A) No one knows what God has on His heart and in His mind.
(1) God chose to share that through inspired revelation from the Holy Spirit..
(2) Did that through His chosen Apostles and Prophets in the first Century written Word. It’s what we know as our New Testament.
(B) VS.10-13.
(1) Apostles and Prophets received it by inspiration and revelation.

(2) It came from Apostles, Prophets to our hearts from God's heart.
(a) Death of Christ outside of Jerusalem is an undeniable. Historical fact.
(b) That historical fact was recorded by inspiration so it would be preserved FLAWLESSLY for you and me.
3. Some things in that death could not be observed with the human eye.
a. Those were things that were contained in the heart of God.
(A) When He died on cross I accept His death as payment for my sin. Who would have ever thought that?? No one!!
(1) God revealed that to His Apostles and Prophets so they knew what was in God's heart and by inspiration and revelation they shared it with us.
(2) When we read it we can know in our heart, What God had in His heart from the very beginning.
(B) That entire message is focused in one person. Jesus Christ.
(1) That's the Good News. Jesus died for our sins.
(2) If Jesus isn't in it, It's not Good News.
b. The heart message of God is our TOP PRIORITY.
(A) Jesus died for our sins. He was buried, resurrected and coronated for our victory.
(B) 2 TIM.1:10-11. That's our lesson for the next few weeks.
(3) ACTS 20:32.
